Sarah Stevenson graduated from the Metalwork and Jewellery course at Sheffield Hallam University in 2007, and in September of that year was accepted onto the prestigious Starter Studio Programme for Silversmiths*, based at Persistence Works in Sheffield.
Awards
- Awarded prize for Best New Designer Maker, sponsored by Pannone LLP, at The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair in Manchester, October 2009.
- Sponsorship by Cookson Precious Metals to take part in British Silver Week 2009, including 300g Argentium silver.
- Awarded a place on the prestigious Starter Studio Programme for Silversmiths*, based at Persistence Works in Sheffield – 2007.
- Inaugural Sheffield Assay Master’s Prize for ‘Excellence in Design’ - 2007 Precious Metal Bursary Award from Goldsmith’s for production of degree work, 2007 (see images below).

Work Experience

Commissions
- Commissioned by the Lord Mayor of Sheffield to produce a piece for the Civic Plate Collection in the Town Hall in Sheffield, 2008
- Commissioned by the Sheffield Assay Office to produce a piece for ‘Little Gems 4,’ which was on display in the Millennium Galleries in Sheffield from Nov 2008 – May 2009 (see image below)
Not Just a Silversmith
