Commissioned by the Lord Mayor of Sheffield in 2008, Copper with removable sterling silver
inserts. The combination of metals was in reference to the old Sheffield Plate, which was made
of copper and silver. It was also an opportunity to use the new Assay laws which permit the
hallmarking of mixed metals
